1965, Creation of the UFLP (Union franco-luxembourgeoise des pétroles (UFLP), a subsidiary of the UGP (Union Générale des Pétroles, which will become later Elf), on May, the 12th.
1967, Elf markets its products in Luxembourg
1985, Petrofina creates a new company in Luxembourg for the production of bactericidal substances extracted from milk and intended for the food industry (announced in 1984).
1987, Elf Belgium takes control of three distribution companies specialised in the sale of butane and propane in Luxembourg (Probutan Gas, Stargas and Cogegal Luxembourg).
1995, Elf signs a memorandum of understanding with Shell to divesting its service stations in Belgium and Luxembourg, where their market share does not exceed 2%.
Today, the Group is present in Luxembourg via the marketing of petroleum products and associated services. It also carries out societal actions in the fields of sport and health.
