André Martin - Director North Africa of Elf-ERAP

Head of technical services in the fuel department (1941-1951). Head of the exploration department of Esso REP from 1951 to 1954 (date of discovery of the Parentis deposit). Entered the RAP (Régie Autonome des Petroles) as Director General (1955-1965), that is to say that he brought the RAP into exploration in the North Sea after having developed it in Algeria. Director-general then CEO of CREPS (Company for the exploration and exploitation of petroleum in the Sahara) in 1970-1971. Director of Elf Research Exploration (Elf-RE) in 1974-1977. Director general director of PETROPAR (Company of petroleum participations).
