Yves Delavesne - Director of Gas at ERAP and SNEA, Vice-President of SNEA(P)
Born August 30, 1918 in Ville-Langy (Nièvre). Lycée Pasteur (Neuilly sur Seine), Ecole polytechnique, engineer at the Corps des mines. Engineer in the Mining Department (1947-1950), then assistant to the Director of Mines (Ministry of Industry) from 1950 to 1954. Director of the BRP (Petroleum Research Bureau) from 1954 to 1965. Director of natural gas at ERAP in 1966, then of the Elf Aquitaine group, he was the father of the ERAP gas organisation, then of the Elf Aquitaine group, the first structure after the nationalisation of gas by Algeria. Vice President of SNEA(P) in 1976. CEO of the Société nationale des gaz du sud-ouest. Director of Cedigaz, Petroland NV, Elf Italiana Mineraria, SNPA, Gaz de France, Compagnie française du méthane. Vice-Chairman of the Association of Gas Technicians. Died May 20, 2014.
